I am currently reading the final book entitled "Splendor" in the Luxe series. These books follow the New York debutantes Elizabeth Holland and her younger sister Diana, their treacherous friend Penelope Hayes, the Holland's servant girl Lina Broud, and, the man-in-the-middle, Henry Shoonmaker. These books are a drama for sure: absoultely ridiculous wealth, beautitul handmade gowns, star-crossed lovers, illicit sex, betrayal, death.
